Are you needy?

Greetings from Texas! This morning I received an amazing Word from the Lord regarding our NEED for God & the things of God. Brian Houston, senior pastor of Hillsong church, brought this message. These are my notes from this message. I pray that you will open your hearts up to what our God might speak to you through this.

19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

EMBRACING YOUR NEED!

I need the wisdom of God!
I need God's grace!
I need my wife!
I need Jesus!

Revelation 3:17
17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Proverbs 24:6
6 for waging war you need guidance,
and for victory many advisers.

1 Corinthians 12:21
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”

NEED IS THE BIRTHPLACE OF GREAT MIRACLES!

YOU NEED MORE NEED!

I want our church to ALWAYS have more vision than money!

God knows your need!

Matthew 6:8
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

1Corinthians 2:7-12
7"No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” – 10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. 4 things where increased need will bring increased supply

Hebrews 11:1
1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

1. YOU NEED MORE SEED!
2 Corinthians 9:10
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

2. YOU NEED MORE GODLY WISDOM!

James 1:5
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

3. YOU NEED TO ENLARGE YOUR THINKING!

Ephesians 3:20
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,

4. WE NEED MORE NEED!
